About Whistler Museum
The Whistler Museum tells Whistler's stories from summer lodge operators to the creation of Whistler Blackcomb to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Started in 1986 by Florence Petersen, the museum collects, preserves, and documents the natural history and human stories of mountain life. Located behind the Whistler Public Library in Whistler Village, the museum is open by donation with a suggested $5 per person. One-hour guided walking tours depart daily at 11am from the Visitor Centre throughout June, July, August, and September, offered by donation.
