The Robot Zoo

About this event

Discover the incredible engineering hidden in the animal kingdom at The Robot Zoo, presented by White Spot Restaurants. Get up close with eight larger-than-life robotic animals and uncover how nature inspires extraordinary mechanical designs. From a swimming platypus to a squid hunting its prey, explore the science of movement, adaptation, and survival through fascinating animatronics and interactive exhibits. Designed for visitors of all ages, this experience brings the wonders of nature to life through engineering and hands-on learning. Engage Your Inner Animal: * Swat the Fly – Put your reaction time to the test. Will you react faster than a fly? * Tongue Gun – Control an arcade-inspired chameleon head and test your speed and precision as you try to hit buzzy prey with its tongue. * Sticky Feet – Discover how flies have a Spider-Man-like ability to walk on walls. * Jet Propelled – Race against three friends in a carnival-style pumping game and discover how giant squids propel themselves through the water. The Robot Zoo is on at Science World from October 9, 2026 – April 4, 2027. Bring your family and friends for an unforgettable adventure into the wild, where nature meets engineering and learning comes to life.
